Cherry Blossoms are called “sakura” in Japanese, the Cherry Blossom is Japan’s national flower. You can see Cherry Blossoms bloom from late March to mid-April. During Cherry Blossom season you will often see people having picnics under Cherry blossom trees. This is called “hanami” or “flower viewing”, and it’s a custom that dates back many centuries. Cherry Blossoms are mostly found in beautiful spots in Japan. The Japenese have a forecast on television in cherry blossom season. The blossom moves north in a “sakura zensen”,or cherry blossom front, and it’s progress is kneenly tracked.
The Japenese Cherry Blossom is one one of the most beautiful flowers ever found in the world. People make perfumes with the Cherry Blossom petals and other stuff from it because the Cherry Blossom has such a great smell.
